The Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) was created in 1996 by the suggestion of the Tile Council of North America. The overall goal of CTEF’s activities is to raise the quality of ceramic tile installation. CTEF is an educational institution that offers local, regional, and national training programs for consumers, installers, construction professional, architects, designers, building inspectors and sales associates interested in the sale and installation of ceramic tile.
Certification identifies an installer as being a dedicated and knowledgeable professional whose competence in installing tile has been verified to meet specific tile industry standards.
